About Me

Known colloquially as JChiu, I'm a soon-to-be-graduating senior at the University of California, Berkeley studying political science. Growing up in the Bay Area has imparted me with a passionate interest in technology and inspired me to additionally pursue a minor in computer science. I'm currently helping to plan The Big Hack 2016: A Social Good Hackathon that will be occurring this April 2016 at the Microsoft Reactor SF. Co-hosted by Cal's Blueprint, Stanford's CS+Social Good, Cal Hacks, and TreeHacks, we're bringing together 100 of the top hackers, engineers, and designers to join us to create innovative solutions for social problems being tackled by some of the most impactful non-profit organizations in the Bay Area.

Besides being a full-time student, I am also an avid bookworm, crime TV show enthusiast, eager world traveler, and lover of music. Scroll down to learn more about me :)
